Luxor's Royal Odyssey: Valley of Kings & Hatshepsut VIP Tour

Ustaz Michael took my mother and I on a private tour of the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatchepsut. He and our driver (sorry cannot remember the gentleman’s name) were beyond gracious, courteous, patient with all my questions and knowledgeable. I appreciated very much the historical data shared about the ancient Coptic church and the history of how the early Christians had hidden in temples during the Roman occupation of Egypt for safety and that is why you can still see the graffiti in various temples. And how Egypt’s Coptic Christian’s spoken and written language is a direct iteration of the our Ancient Egyptian Ancestors!! Fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. MIchael’s tour and will definitely ask for him again when we return for a longer visit next year, insha’Allah. Thank you for everything and apologies for the late review! Our tour guide Remon was very friendly and knowledgeable about Egyptology. He organised everything for us, e.g. getting tickets etc, and then offered us an additional boat trip and lunch after we had finished where we had a delicious tagine. A driver also picked us up and dropped us off at each location, which made the whole tour so easy! We had a brilliant tour and I would definitely recommend!!

Sara was very informative and patient with me. The driver was amazing he drove very safe. She answered all of my questions and made sure I was satisfied.

We had a lovely morning touring the Temple of Hatshepsut and valley of the kings. Dina was a great guide, very clear and gave good background. We included an airport pick up which was really convenient.

What a great experience! Ended up being a private tour as I was alone. Remon is highly knowledgeable and takes time to explain things, including what you’ll see at each stop, and how to navigate all the market sellers. I thoroughly enjoyed the Valley of the Kings, definitely take your time here. Having a guide made the experience all the more seamless. The driver Sam was also courteous and professional throughout.

We had a great half day tour with Remon, covering the valley of Kings and Hatshepsut temple, alongside stops along the way for local art and crafts. Remon was knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient with finding us the quickest way around. He was also very flexible on the timings and happy to answer all our questions. Luxor has many tourists still visiting and we found the place and all the sights to be perfectly safe and welcoming. One area of improvement is the rather brusque communication from the tour company.

Our guide Michael was a wealth of knowledge. He shared Egypt’s rich past with us with both passion and patience, answering our many questions. What a wonderful experience.

Michael was an incredible tour guide, he was very informative, kind and funny. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to book this tour, the price is very good for what you get, and I would especially recommend asking for Michael as a tour guide!!
